Jesus Christ was a carpenter from the small town of Nazareth who many despised. Jesus’ unconventional rise to leadership came quickly, precisely because He was hated by many. David was a shepherd caring for sheep. When others more experienced than he were afraid to go to battle, David stood up, took on Goliath, and defeated Him single-handedly.
